Battle Of The Bands is the 11th episode of Marvin, Marvin.

The episode received an audience of 1.826 million views.


Marvin tries to compete in the Battle of the Bands competition at school, but he can't because he needs a band. Henry tells him to disguise himself as a lawyer to convince the judge to let him in. When Marvin goes to the school as a lawyer, he runs into the principal thinking he is a substitute teacher for a second grade class. Marvin quickly realizes these kids would be good candidates for his band. However the principal comes back and realizes he isn't a teacher at all. However on the night of Battle of the Bands kids show up at his house and Marvin goes to the school to compete. He plays a song named "Joy Bubbles." The episode ends with Marvin getting grounded, however he can play a recorder which annoys Liz and Bob. Pop, Pop challenges Henry to a chili making contest. Henry recruits Bob, and then later recruits Teri and Liz. Once Pop, Pop sees how much they enjoy making the Chili; he sabotages his Chili so they win. </p>


  • The episode title makes many references to Good Luck Charlie, How to Rock, and The Awesome Show.
  • The episode seems to be based on the movie The School of Rock.
  • This episode managed to receive a horribly low amount of views, only with 1.83 million views.
